Missy + Harvey Engagement

Bubba and I met in the small South Texas town of Kingsville. It wasn’t until the day he asked me to help him put out hay that I realized how sweet, respectful, and genuine of a person he truly was. I took him to meet my parents and they had never been a fan of anyone as much as they were of Bubba. Anyone I introduced him to just could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed his presence and respect. The more time went on, the more God answered all my prayers.

Four years later, we’re living on a small ranch in Karnes City, Texas. We have a precious blue dachshund that’s the center of our world, to say the least. He joins us on everything adventure, riding on the center console. We’re planning a trip to Nashville for meetings involving the cotton industry. Bubba gives me word the Friday before we fly out that there was a guy headed down that day to meet us before Nashville. I rushed to get ready, get my nails done, and get bubba a clean button-down. Little did I know I was walking into a cotton warehouse filled with cotton bales stacked up to spell out “ Marry Me”! Bubba truly is God sent. He’s everything a man should be and more. For now, I get to call him my fiancé but, in just over a year I get to call him my husband! My heart cannot wait! November 12, 2022, cannot come soon enough!
